Every time a friend or coworker asks me how my trip was I have to fight back tears. I actually *really* liked The Help and considering that the modern half of Catfish Alley is set about 40 years after The Help, it makes me despair. It's a very fast page turner, though, and for me it was worth it just to get a reunion scene in the very end. let me know if you end up reading it or not. Especially Mississippi, I think. I really, really, didn't like <i>The Help</i>, but at least this one skips back and forth between the past and today.
